Federica Valabrega

Federica became a yoga teacher with the hopes of helping others discover their true selves, just as she, while in college, discovered herself through the beginnings of her practice.

She received her 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher) certification from the Baron Baptiste affiliated Core Power Yoga Studio in Boulder, CO in 2006, and has been teaching power Vinyasa classes ever since. Federica has taught at various universities, gyms, and yoga studios, with the aim of helping her students become aware of their physical selves while trying to quiet their wandering minds and egos. She likes to say, “This is yoga PRACTICE, not yoga PERFECT!”

Her classes are challenging and ‘spicy’, an ode to her Italian heritage and love of rock climbing. When she is not on a yoga mat, you can find Federica at Brooklyn Boulder or running around Central Park.
